02Check crown, bezel and buttonsRotate and press every control, feeling for grit, missed clicks or stiffness. Inspect microphone and speaker openings for residue.
03Check band locks and charger fitBoth lugs should retain the band securely. The correct charger should align firmly and begin charging without repeated repositioning.

Confirm the next owner can activate and use the device normally.

01Watch the seller unpair through the phone appA simple reset on the watch may leave activation protection. The seller should use the platform's official unpair flow and remove the device from their account.
02Pair to your phone after eraseComplete enough of pairing to confirm it does not request the previous owner and is compatible with your phone and regional service.
03Check cellular plan release if fittedConfirm the seller removed the watch plan and that the identifier is accepted by your carrier before paying extra for cellular capability.
