02Test cameras, microphones and every speakerRecord and play back a short clip, rotate the tablet and listen for missing channels, distortion or orientation sensors that fail to react.
03Test Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and cellular if fittedJoin a known network, pair an accessory and test your compatible SIM or eSIM where safe. Verify GPS separately on cellular models if it matters to you.

Confirm the next owner can activate and use the device normally.

01Remove all owner accountsWatch the seller sign out and disable Find My or manufacturer location locks. They should type credentials privately.
02Activate after a full eraseJoin Wi-Fi during setup. Reject a request for the previous owner, a Google FRP screen or an unexplained Remote Management profile.
